From younger to a little older; from human to immortal; from good boys to bad boys, they are all different in their way.

But, they have one thing in common – they make viewers’ hearts skip a beat whenever they appear on screen!

In this list, we list down some of the most popular, unique, and good-looking anime boys to date. Note that this list is completely subjective.

Soo-Won

Soo-Won is the anti-hero of the manga and anime series, ‘Akatsuki no Yona’. He is currently the king of the Kouka Kingdom.

Soo-Won is an enigma right from the start of Akatsuki no Yona. We were first introduced to Soo-Won as a kind and soft-spoken cousin to Yona, and a great friend to Hak.

However, he is revealed to be a cunning, dangerous young man as he avenges his father’s death, General Yu-Hon, by killing his uncle, Emperor Il.

Soo-Won is tall, young, and has a really pretty face. However, his somewhat feminine appearance and long dark blonde hair shouldn’t be taken lightly;

he is a fierce king and fills his role properly.  He always wears the same hairstyle, middle-parted bangs with loose strands framing his face. He keeps his long ponytail tied to the side with a delicate gold ornament.

Soo-Won is a beautiful character, his blue eyes, height, and delicate features are so dreamy – and who doesn’t love a king?

About the character. Soo-Won (スウォン Suwon?) is the current king of the Kouka Kingdom, and the 11th king of the Sky Tribe as well as the anti-hero of the manga and anime series, Akatsuki no Yona.

He is the son of the deceased General Yu-Hon and Lady Yong-Hi, the older cousin of Princess Yona, and the childhood friend of Hak. He murders his uncle, Emperor Il, to avenge the alleged murder of his father.

Currently, he is resolving the internal conflicts of Kouka to bring the country back to the strong nation it used to be during the reign of his grandfather Emperor Joo-Nam.

Soo-Won is a tall young man with soft, delicate features. In looks, he takes after his mother Yong-Hi, while in his height takes after his father, Yu-Hon. He has sea green-blue eyes and fair skin.

His dark blond hair extends slightly past his shoulders and is usually tied into a side ponytail using a gold ornament (initially a small ribbon in the manga).

His bangs are parted down the center, and some strands are longer and wavier than the normal cut.

With his frail-looking build and lack of appearance in combat, he is viewed by some as weak and is often contrasted with his childhood friend Hak, a martial arts protege.

In truth, however, he never shows his real strength unless he needs to. When he does display it, he is seen to be a swordsman even capable of threatening General Lee Geun-Tae.

Above all, he is an excellent tactician. He can produce battle strategies that will lead his troops efficiently and manipulate his enemies effortlessly.

Ken Kaneki

Ken Kaneki is the main character in the ‘Tokyo Ghoul’ and the ‘Tokyo Ghoul: re’ anime series. Having a cute and gentle nature, Kaneki Ken’s character was changed when Rize Kamishiro’s kakuhou was transplanted into him, turning him into a one-eyed ghoul.

He goes on to try and learn how to live his life as a ghoul and eventually adopts the nickname Eyepatch.

At first, Ken had black hair and was fairly average. Following the transplant – and subsequent torture by Yamori – his hair turned completely white and he wears a leather gimp mask that has a large lipless mouth with gnashing teeth printed upon it.

As the series goes on, Ken Kaneki progressively becomes cooler, albeit more brutal.

About the character

Ken Kaneki (金木 研, Kaneki Ken) is the main protagonist of the Tokyo Ghoul series. He is currently Touka Kirishima’s husband and the father of Ichika Kaneki.

Previously, he was a student who studied Japanese literature at Kamii University, living a relatively normal life. However, this quickly changed after Rize Kamishiro’s kakuhou was transplanted into him and transformed him into a one-eyed ghoul.

Kaneki is the first known artificial one-eyed ghoul. His unique half-ghoul state is what later inspires the idea of the Quinx.

After joining Anteiku as a part-time waiter, he learns how to live as a ghoul and eventually becomes known as Eyepatch (眼帯, Gantai).

Kirito

Formally known as Kazuto Kirigaya, Kirito is one of the main protagonists of ‘Sword Art Online’. Kirito is mainly calm and collected but also finds it fun to tease and anger others. He has many friends, but his mood can change.

Kirito’s in-game character is very strong and attractive.

Kirito is almost always a calm and collected character, rarely showing any signs of distress.

When Kayaba Akihiko announced that Sword Art Online had become a Death Game, Kirito was able to quickly accept and adjust to the new conditions of the game and take immediate action to increase his chances of survival.

However, Kirito is a very kind person, willing to sacrifice himself to help others.

About the character

Kirigaya Kazuto (桐ヶ谷 和人, Kirigaya Kazuto?), born as Narusaka Kazuto (鳴坂 和人なるさか かずと, Narusaka Kazuto?)[1], and known as Kirito (キリト, Kirito?) in «Sword Art Online» (SAO), «ALfheim Online» (ALO), «Gun Gale Online» (GGO), and «Project Alicization», is the protagonist of the main Sword Art Online series.

Born on October 7, 2008, Narusaka Kazuto was adopted by his aunt and uncle a year after his birth when his biological parents died in an accident.

Raised by his foster parents as a son, Kazuto was originally forced to train with his cousin in the neighborhood kendo dojo; however, due to his aunt’s influence as an editor for a computer systems magazine, Kazuto became more interested in computers and dropped kendo after two years.

This decision earned him a heavy beating from his grandfather, prompting Suguha to defend him by promising to practice enough for both of them.

At the age of ten, Kazuto discovered that he was adopted from erased Juki Net records and since then unintentionally began distancing himself from Suguha.

Portgas D. Ace

Portgas D. Ace is one of One Piece’s most loved characters. He is someone who held great importance in the story, not only before the time skips but continues to do so even after it.

Ace was the son of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, and ended up being raised together with his sworn brothers, Sabo and Luffy.

Ace played a significant role in the first half of the story and was directly involved in the Marineford War, the biggest event of the Great Pirate Era, making him one of the most popular characters – not only in the story but also among the fans.

Although they were not blood-related, Ace looked a lot like his foster brother, Luffy – he was a tall muscular young man with curly black hair. However, Ace was more serious-looking than Luffy’s lighthearted design and was also taller and more muscular.

He also sported rather childish freckles (inherited from his mother). Interestingly, his facial features were almost akin to his biological father, Gol D. Roger, in his youth without his mustache.

About the character

Portgas D. Ace, born as Gol D. Ace and nicknamed “Fire Fist” Ace, was the sworn older brother of Luffy and Sabo, and the biological son of the late Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, and Portgas D. Rouge.

Ace was adopted by Monkey D. Garp, as had been requested by Roger before his execution. Ace was the 2nd division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates and one-time captain of the Spade Pirates.

Hunted by the World Government for his lineage, Ace was captured and sentenced to death, which resulted in the Summit War of Marineford, an all-out clash of powers;

Whitebeard’s forces against the Marines and Seven Warlords. Ace was freed, but he sacrificed his life to protect Luffy from Marine Admiral Akainu.

Ace’s death ultimately proved to be the catalyst leading to Luffy training for two years to become strong enough to protect his friends, paving the way for the second half of the series.

Yato Noragami

Yato Norgami is one of the three main protagonists of Noragami. Originally called Yaboku, he is a minor god who desires to be worshipped by the masses one day. To achieve this, Yato works as a delivery god, taking whatever job people give him for 5 yen.

Despite coming across as selfish, greedy, lazy, and an outright pervert most of the time, deep down inside his soul lies a very remorseful and tragic figure.

As a god of war born from a wish, Yato has killed many people in his past (including many Regalias) and eventually became sick of it and now desires to leave that past behind.

Yato appears to be a young man, with shaggy black hair that reaches to his neck. He has bright, strikingly blue eyes.

He is often seen wearing a sweater jersey and track pants, and an old white bandana/cloth around his neck, which he describes as ‘fluffy fluff’ (fuwa fuwa). He also wears a pair of brown knee-length boots.

When imagining his future as a popular god, Yato wears a red cape and a golden crown and is usually seen with a pink fan within his imagination.

About the character

Yato (夜ト, Yatō?) is one of the three main protagonists of Noragami. He is an obscure god who considers himself a God of Fortune / Happiness and War, he has been labeled a God of Calamity and Depression in the past.

Yato’s dream is to become a famous god, whom everyone worships. Yato appears to be an extremely handsome young man in his late teens to early twenties with a height of 174cm (5’8”).

He has messy, dark violet hair and light blue eyes with small, round pupils that become narrow when he is serious or angry, resembling that of a cat.

Yato can be mischievous, crude, and unpredictable in his behavior. He often has a low tolerance for something he wants, usually causing those around him to become upset. Furthermore, he is rather childish and gullible at times.

Yato will often indulge in fantasies of being a very successful God with more followers than any other deity; shrines full of luxury and shrine maiden at his fingertips. As his existence would end if he were to be forgotten, he has developed Athazagoraphobia.

Despite his aloof and often idiotic personality, Yato can be quite wise and very serious when the situation requires it.

Levi Ackerman

Dubbed “humanity’s most powerful soldier”, Levi Ackerman is a very popular character from the anime and manga, ‘Attack on Titan’.

Levi is the squad captain of the Special Operations Squad in the Survey Corps. He is a short man who is loyal but tough, unfriendly on the outside but caring on the inside.

He doesn’t question authority but when he does, he makes sure to always get at the bottom of everything.

Levi has short black hair and intimidating gray eyes. Even though he is short, he has a well-framed body because of his constant training.

Furthermore, Levi rarely shows any emotions; he is very calm, speaks bluntly, and tells dark and vulgar jokes – plus he is a cleaning freak. Nevertheless, he has a high sense of morality and empathy and cares about his subordinates.

After a close-encounter explosion from a Thunder Spear set off by Zeke Yeager,[18] Levi now has several scars across his face including one across his right eye, and is missing both the index and middle fingers on his right hand.

Anime Boys User Reviews

Here are some reviews from people who buy Anime Boys merchandise:

“Here we go with my Captain Levi figure review from Figma! Maaaan, I’m glad I was able to get this. All the stores locally already had full lists of pre-orders and I wasn’t able to catch up.

Fortunately, a friend of mine who was in Hong Kong, Dexter Suerte, was able to score me one from his supplier.” – Dominic

“High-quality Kirito action figure. From the day I purchased this figure to the day, I received it in the mail, I could not have been more than excited.

A person who loves anime and figures (or anyone for that matter), should have their favorite character to go along with their anime love.

Coming from a person who knows their anime products, the quality should be the idea of this (and every anime figure) product and that is what I received.

Although the box it came in was very slightly damaged on the edges of the retail box, the anime figure itself was beautiful and of high quality.

I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for their favorite anime character.” – Pearl

“Very detailed Portgas D. Ace figure. The detail in this figure is amazing. His necklace even moves, which I thought was kinda cool (it doesn’t fall off, just moves Atwood like a loose necklace).

For the price, it’s worth it too. My boyfriend loved it! It was delivered on time which I was glad for.” – Carter

“Love it! Great for fans! Funko Pop always has nice figures for great prices, and this one is no exception. Has amazing detail, especially the kagune.

Looks great and is a nice figure for the price. Would recommend it to anyone who loves Tokyo Ghoul.” – Cameron
