  • This Dipolog-born female motocross rider shows that racetracks aren’t exclusively for boys.
  • In Manila, this Fil-Am singer wins the heart of Pinoys on her first solo concert.
  • Do something noble. Help UNICEF by being a champion for the Pinoy children.
  • It’s almost the end of summer (do we hear a groan?)! Sandal maker Sanuk hosts a fitting end to the season of sun, sea, and sand with a sandcastle challenge right in the metro, while Dunkin’ Donuts closes the summer with a dance showdown for dance enthusiasts.
  • The traditional Chinese way of healing, acupuncture, can now be availed of at your favorite spa.
  • A recent pediatric study finds out the financial and emotional impact of a sick child with diarrhea on caregivers and parents. Understand why it makes sense to get the rotavirus vaccine.

It was a fitting way to bid summer goodbye: Sun, check. Sand, check. Sea? Well, there was no body of water around, but the five teams that joined the Sanuk Sandcastle Challenge at R.O.X. on Bonifacio High Street didn’t mind, intent as they were on perfecting their sandcastles.
