CCP Thirteen Artists awardee Elmer Borlogan’s “Hatid” (oil on canvas, 92×122cm, 2008) will be among the 126 art pieces by 40 Pinoy artists to be auctioned off on July 20 at the Pinto Gallery in Antipolo City. Dubbed Art 40, the event is organized by ABS-CBN news anchor Julius Babao, who celebrates his 40th birthday with a fund-raiser to benefit the Art 40 Gawad Kalinga Village in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City.

The list of artists whose works will be auctioned off is an impressive one, and includes national artists and top contemporary artists. They include Jerry Elizalde Navarro, Bencab, Malang, Joel Ajero, Juan Alcazaren, Poklong Anading, Manuel Baldemor, Plet Bolipata, Ruel Caasi, Daniel Coquilla, Melvin Culaba, Mark Justiniani, Geraldine Javier, Manny Garibay, Joy Mallari, Mikel and Mario Parial, Jaypee and Jerson Samson, and Yasmin Sison, among others.
