Brian Reyes, Casey Pascual, Gusto Kita Too movie, Rica Arevalo film

From the makers of award-winning indie hits ICU Bed #7 and Saan Nagtatago Si Happiness? comes a new short film from Cinemalaya best director Rica Arevalo, Gusto Kita Too.

Shot in the US, this romantic comedy casts Fil-Am talents Brian Reyes and Casey Pascual and shows how these two children of the diaspora pursue true love and carry out courtship, Pinoy-style. Gusto Kita Too is produced by Mediarevolution Film Productions with Maan dela Cruz as editor and original music by Jerrold Tarog.

Gusto Kita Too screens back to back with Will Fredo’s sensational film Sa Pagdapo ng Mariposa at IndieSine Robinson’s Galleria starting May 21, 2008.

Very Pinoy, very human and guwapo ang actor at very pleasant mukha ng actress. Natural na Pinoy and hitsura saan man parte ng mundo. Congratulations sa pagbabalik sa real people…Napaka unique at refreshing sa nakakatarantang mundo ng indies.

Isa na naman bang pleasant indie ang Gusto Kita Too? I saw ICU and Saan nagtatago Si happiness…touches the heart in some funny, realistic, emotional way.

parang sa pagkasimple ng appeal eh nakakachallenge ano ang naiiba sa film na ito. Hope to be entertained dahil I have been shocked, disoriented horrified by viewing indies . I am in search for a real alternative . I hope this will be a good one.

Congratulations Rica Arevalo and company for a job well done. I cannot believe the talent of you newfound stars. Even in America, it is always a joy to watch fil-am movies. Bring them on.

The successful team-up of “Gusto Kita Too/Sa Pagdapo ng Mariposa” at IndieSine, results in an additional theatrical run at Robinson’s Ermita starting June 4. This is the first time in regular Philippine theatre experience that featured a short film together with a full-length film. Screenings of the two unique love stories are still ongoing at IndieSine, Robinson’s Galleria.
