Summer is all about outdoor fun, and on May 31, Sunday, outdoor consumer products company Life Is Good, through R.O.X. Bonifacio High Street, brings its fun-filled watermelon and pumpkin festivals to the Philippines.

It’ll be like a fiesta of sorts for the entire Pinoy family, New England style. There’ll be booths for face and watermelon painting, and you can get the entire family’s picture taken at a photo booth.

There’ll also be a Frisbee coaching activity as well as a watermelon hunt, a watermelon-eating contest, a tug-of-war, and a sack race. Mommies and kitchen queens will love the cooking demo. There’s also a magic show to entertain both the young and the old.

Founded in 1994 by brothers Bert and John Jacobs, the New England-based company Life Is Good offers a range of products, from apparel to dog dishes to furniture, but its chief product is optimism, which its mascot Jake spreads around. In the face of a looming crisis, it’s something every Pinoy knows very well.

To register, go to the Life Is Good Multiply page or call 8564638 to 39. Registration fee is P250. The first 50 families to register will get a good bag and a picnic basket.

Proceeds of this event will go to the Bantay Bata Foundation.
