On your next grocery errand, say no to plastic bags and bring a Luntian Bag instead.

The Luntian Bag (luntian literally means green in Filipino) is a project of nature-loving corporate warrior Ichay Bulaong.

These reusable canvas bags, available in different designs and sizes, are products of a livelihood program in San Teodoro, Mabini, Batangas, where Ichay can be found during weekends with her husband, another “corporate warrior,” and her two daughters.

With Luntian Bags, Ichay says she’s able to fulfill her share in taking care of the environment and help run a livelihood program in San Teodoro.

See available bag designs here. Contact Ichay for orders at ibulaong@gmail.com or +63 918 9140446. Photo from Luntian Bags blog.

@Nina: I am not sure if these bags are sold in shops in the metro, but I suggest you contact Ichay for information on prices and how to get hold of them. I think they make great gift bags for Christmas!
