Visual artists step away from their canvasses briefly to mount a photography exhibit, “Kodakan,” at the Kaida Gallery opening at 6 p.m. of December 7.

We know Plet Bolipata, Elmer Borlongan, Ruel Caasi, Carlo Gabuco, Dennis Leonardo, Ferdinand Montemayor, Mikel Parial, and Mario Parial for their artworks in oils and acrylics and other media, but this time the group shares its appreciation of the world by photographs.

“Kodakan” is the group’s first attempt in photography, and they show that they are equally adept with the camera as they are with their palette knives and paint brushes.

Organized in cooperation with DPI Photography Center, the exhibit runs until January 5, 2008.
