White T-shirt with Manny Garibay’s “Biyaheng Probinsiya” [Trip to the Province], and “White Moon” tote bag by Serj Bumatay
Canvas recently opened an online store, Canvas Downstream, for Filipinos based in the US and Canada.
Among the merchandise carried by the online store are adult and infant T-shirts, messenger and tote bags, mugs, steins, and greeting cards imprinted with designs by artists Manny Garibay, Serj Bumatay, Elmer Borlongan, Plet Bolipata, Romeo Forbes, Farley del Rosario, and Daniel Tayona.
There are over 25 designs available online. Those by Ivee Mellor and Michael Cacnio, as well as other Canvas artists, will also be added later, says executive director Gigo Alampay. Merchandise such as throw pillows, framed reproductions, and books will also be included in the site’s lineup.
Payments can be made securely through credit card.
Filipinos based locally can buy the totes, wallets, shirts, and prints at the 1/of Gallery, which is partly owned by Canvas.
