
The University of Santo Tomas’ Accountancy Journal presents “Deviatus: A Pause from Numbers,” a two-day literary and arts lecture and workshop on September 19 and 27.
Speakers for the September 19 session are comic book artists Gerry Alanguilan, who will talk about comics story telling, and Ariel Atienza and Lyndon Gregorio, who will discuss comic strips.
For the September 27 lecture, artist Wilson Tortosa will delve into cartooning and comics. Tortosa has done some graphic work for Tomb Raider and the US re-launch of Battle of the Planets.
Alanguilan is known for his work in Wasted, Siglo: Freedom, and Siglo: Passion. Lyndon Gregorio is the pseudonym of the creator of Beerkada.
