“There are so many things that inspire me: my family, friends, and fans,” Asia’s pop idol Christian Bautista says.

Which probably explains why Christian’s first major solo concert this year is titled “Christian Inspired,” which runs on October 6 at the Cuneta Astrodome.

“I feel that I have the best job in the world because I get to perform with great musicians, and most creative artists and directors. I get to sing to very appreciative audiences,” says Christian.

This time, however, Christian, along with director Freddie Santos and technical director Mart Miranda, is excited to offer something new to concertgoers this side of the world.

Showcasing Christian’s numerous inspirations in life is a state-of-the-art visual presentation technology called “Watch Out,” which measures 9×42 feet.

This is the same projection technology that Canadian pop superstar Celine Dion uses in her long-running show at the Colosseum in Las Vegas.

Joining Christian in this groundbreaking concert are fellow ASAP mainstays Toni Gonzaga and Sam Milby as special guests, with the special participation of Kuh Ledesma, Joni Villanueva, Tricia Amper Jimenez, Sam Concepcion, and Gary Valenciano, with Mel Villena as musical director.

“Christian Inspired” is staged for the benefit of Imus Unida Christian School.

Christian’s popularity in Asia has been sustained by various product endorsements, including Oishi, Star SMS, Artea of San Miguel Corp., and the releases of his albums in Indonesia.

His self-titled debut album reached double platinum in Indonesia, while the hit single, “The Way You Look at Me” was the number one foreign song in Singapore last year. His recent concerts in Bali, Surabaya, Jogjakarta, Jakarta, and Medan were sold out.
