Just got back from St. Petersburg, Russia. Splendid city. My eyes are renewed again. So much lyricism there.

In a few days, I’ll be opening my Frida exhibit/homage at Instituto Cervantes de Manila entitled “SANTA FRIDA: 100 YEARS BETWEEN US”.

Don’t miss it. JULY 6, 2007, Friday, 8PM at their new bldg. on T.M. KALAW.

The kind of work I did for this exhibit is a new exploration. COLOR. Check it out if you’re curious. I did this as an ofertas/hominaje for one of my favorite artists, the great Mexican artist, FRIDA KAHLO. This July marks her 100th Birthday Anniversary and it is in this occasion that Instituto Cervantes has created a month-long series of cultural events in honor and celebration of our beloved immortal Frida.
