“Proudly Pinoy,” launched on the 2007 Independence Day, is a competition to design a logo that will serve as a “national pride” badge on Filipino Websites. The logo should express the pride of being Filipino and allow the site to declare its Philippine identity.
The entry could make use of the design of Aguinaldo’s Philippine flag, which already is strongly identified with Filipino identity. The logo shall be in the form of a .gif or .png image. Background color should be white or transparent and the logo should contain text, in any font, stating “Proudly Pinoy”.
Shown above are some of the initial entries.
Signal your intention to participate in the competition by putting up a link to http://www.proudlypinoy.org, or by blogging about this project, then send your entry to proudlypinoy@yahoo.com.ph.
The winning entry will be awarded P10,000 cash. Deadline of entries: July 11, 2007, Philippine Standard Time.
